All of a sudden, Project Linus seems to be on everyone's lips (and agenda!) Firstly I went to Piecemakers in Lutterworth and Ann had made this beautiful hexagon quilt for Linus. It has been pieced and quilted by hand! The old favourites are always welcome especially when they are as bright and cheerful as this one.

Next the postman did his bit. He managed to push a squishy envelope through the door from Karol-Ann full of novelty fabrics, very suitable for making Linus quilts. Although I have quite a bit of donated fabric, pieces with child-pleasing motifs are especially popular. Thank you, Karol-Ann!

Then the next day, there was a card through the door, saying that the postman had tried to deliver a parcel which was too big to fit through my letterbox, and would I like to collect it from the sorting office! Luckily, the sorting office is only about a mile from my house, so off I went, to find this lovely 'Stars and Strips' quilt from Teresa!
She had met an old friend (Mary) who had just been to see me to bring a Linus quilt, and had told her that quilts for boys are always needed. She thought this one would be very suitable, and I agree!
Then, yesterday I went to Rocheberie Quilters in Rugby, and was given this pile of quilts made by various people. There are 15 altogether!

I intend to contact the Women's Aid in Leicester, as last year they took a pile of quilts which they used as part of the Christmas presents for the children in the refuge. They will all find really good homes I can assure you!
