Thanks to Mandy and Diana

Do you remember that Diana came to our sewing day back in September and took away various fabrics to make into Linus quilts? Well, she's made the fabric up into 12 gorgeous quilts! There were some pieces of novelty fabric which are perfect for children's quilts as they are bright, colourful and interesting.

This one is jungle animals - always a children's favourite,

this one is cats, another winner.

This one a winter scene, which bordered with red looks very warm and inviting.

She also took some kits of strip blocks which she has made up,

This one looks quite tropical,

and don't these look great made up with lime green. It's my belief that every quilt can be improved by a little (or a lot) of lime green, and I think this quilt proves my point!

In all there were 14 quilts which have been taken to the Oncology Ward at the Leicester Royal Infirmary by Mandy for children living with cancer. Many thanks Diana, Mandy and ladies from the Embroiderers' Guild for all your hard work.
