Quite a few of them are the little incubator quilts, or the pile would have been much bigger!
Here is Sue with a lovely cot quilt. The babies each have a small (18") quilt for their incubator, to make it look more attractive, and then a cot quilt to take with them when they go home. Unfortunately some of them don't make it that far.We are lucky that there are so many talented and generous people around who continue to make quilts. Here are some I was given at Rocheberie Quilters yesterday.
June made this top, which was made up so beautifully by someone else.
There are fishy motifs in the centre of each square.
Kath made this quilt and didn't include it in show and tell as she said it wasn't good enough! Well, maybe there are a few tucks in the backing, but the quilt has a lovely bus motif and is nice and snuggly. Any little boy would love this quilt!
Denise made this chevron quilt at a workshop and backed it with fleece for extra snuggle.
The fabrics all have a seaside theme, with shells, sea, beach scenes and boats. I don't know how she can bear to part with this, but it will make a child very happy and is perfect for the coming season, and to remember happy days.
