Mandy has been busy collecting and distributing quilts. The lovely Diana has been turning out quilts like there's no tomorrow, and such gorgeous ones too! Mandy has a friend who has just started fostering and donated a quilt to her new charge, and then used this contact to visit Looked After Children's Services in Kettering to give them more quilts. I know that Kettering isn't in Leicestershire (unlucky Kettering!) but Joan, the Northants rep was very magnanimous in agreeing that we could take the quilts, as it was Mandy's contact. She said, it was all to the children's benefit. Thank you for that Joan - and to Mandy and Diana.

Here is a quilt made from an animal print - simple but effective.

This one is rail fence and plain squares.
Another rail fence, but I think the lime green just gives this one the edge.

An unusual arrangement of log cabin using batiks in this instance.
This one I recognise as being from a kit I put together myself, using leftover half square triangles made into square in a square. Blue and yellow always make a gorgeous combination!

The batik fabrics on this simple four-patch quilt make it look sophisticated and complex.

And this baby quilt will certainly keep baby amused and stimulated with all the gorgeous, bright colours. Well done ladies at making such a lot of delectable quilts.
