Quilts for the Oncology Ward

Mandy came round the other day to show me some quilts she had had donated, and to pick up some quilts to take to the Oncology Ward at the LRI. The staff there had asked for more quilts, and she only had a few. Luckily I had plenty for her to take.
She brought the ones she had so I could share them with you, some of which I recognised from 'kits' Jackie and I had made up.

Here is a house quilt, looking very colourful.
This one is a set of orphan blocks which have fitted together pretty well, since they are all blue!

Here is a Mile a Minute - always looks gorgeous.

This is a simple quilt made from squares, but the colours which have been chosen make it lively and appealing. The quilting is rather good too!

This quilt is made from strips and a golden background fabric.
A lovely batik quilt made from four patches and strips.
And last, but by no means least, a log cabin variation in bright colours.
Mandy will have been welcomed with open arms once these fabulous quilts are glimpsed!
