Last quilt of 2009

I have just finished a quilt which I have made from a donated UFO of half square triangles. I put a nice turquoise border round it, and then a wider border of clowns. The whole thing was finished off with a turquoise binding. Unless someone comes round with quilts for me today (very unlkely, I should think!), this quilt will be the last one for 2009, and brings our grand total for the year to 245 quilts! I would like to take this opportunity to thank all those who have made quilts, made blocks, donated tops, orphan blocks or fabric to Linus, or donated 'stuff' for my rummage box. I would also like to thank those who have been so generous in buying the contents of the box, as without you, there would be no money to buy wadding, stamps or cards. You are all wonderful people, and have played your part in giving comfort to children in need of a hug! Thank you very much!
