Sorry

I have really been very poor at posting pictures of the lovely quilts I have been given. I'm really sorry if you've given me a quilt recently, and not seen it on the blog. It isn't because it wasn't good enough or anything, just that I've been remiss about photographing, and then Sue from ADAPT came and took 45 quilts away with her, so they're gone!

Here she is with one of them. She chose it because it's bright and cheerful. Lots of the quilts were the prem ones (about 18" square) so they didn't require her to bring a removal van to take them. I also gave her a bag of little knitted hats, some white wool from the rummage box and an amaryllis!
So when I was given lots of quilts at Rocheberie Schoolhouse quilters (some brought by Kay fromleicestershire Quilters), I made sure my DH was available to hold them up for photos. This one has a kind of 19th century feel - but is bright and happy.
This one was made from a kit by Caroline. She has chosen lovely child-friendly fabric for the sashing. Here is a sashed mile-a-minute with a difference! This is an attractive medallion quilt made from leftover blocks. Looks good to me!
These blocks were made from leftover strips and are cleverly put together. This quilt would be perfect for a boy, as the little images and colours are quite masculine.A cot quilt for a girl, and this one too!And here's one for a future animal-lover.
This lovely panel of circus animals has been made extra special by the unusual border. The diamonds are on the front at the sides and on the back at the top and bottom. I haven't yet worked out how it's done!Mile-a-minute I-spy!
Another house quilt - this one with little smiling cats peeping from each window! The maker of this quilt made one for her daughter, and this one from the leftover blocks! It wll cetainly please a little girl greatly.

Another I-spy, made from charm squares?A dog lover's dream quilt. This knitted prem quilt was finished off at the meeting. It's nice and snuggly and in lovely colours. Perfect to stimulate the development of immature eyes, while adding a splash of colour to cheer worried parents!

Hi - I sent you an email last week about donating a quilt but think it might have ended up in a junk folder. Sorry if you just haven't got round to answering it yet - I dont mean to hassle you :-)

Hello again! I sent you another email but I am guessing it never got through. Please could you send me an address to send quilt donations to? Apologies once more if you have just been too busy to respond to emails.
