Not only have I been receiving quilts, but I've been giving them away as well! Earlier in the week I went to Credo Care's Leicestershire office to take five quilts for disabled youngsters entering foster care. They are all boys, which made selecting quilts from the pile a bit trickier than normal. However, Kate was delighted at my choices, and happily posed for a photo. These youngsters will be starting a whole new life, moving from either hospital or local authority care into a family. Good luck to them.

Next stop Women's Aid, where Janet had requested 15 quilts for the children in the Leicestershire refuges.

She was well organised, and had brought a trolley to take the quilts up to the office! Apparently they had had an influx of new cases recently, and the recent cold weather has made the idea of quilts doubly appealing! I'm just glad we could help.
