Hooray! Made it!

Today, I decided to clear round upstairs (mother-in-law is expected to stay for Christmas!) and ended up reorganising some of the Linus fabric. I have lots of lovely orphans, but they need to be matched up to be useful, so I spent some time sorting blocks, measuring them, and trimming those which were strange sizes to make them easy to use.

Here's the 'Tops and orphan blocks' box with all the blocks in their correct bags. Now they are ready to use at our next sewing afternoon in January. I was interrupted by the doorbell, and I was delighted to see Jackie, who had seen my plea for another quilt to make this year's total up to 300, and had brought one!

It's a beautiful prem quilt with mother and baby rabbit! Of course, it being Jackie, she couldn't just bring one quilt.......

she brought three! Many thanks for that, Jackie, and keep on stitching!
