Yesterday Paula, Julie and I went over to the U3A craft group in Burbage to sew for Linus with the lovely ladies there. We go there every year and always have a great time. This time I took some orphan blocks which I asked them to quilt so we could join them quilt-as-you-go.
Here is the group beavering away! Julie is helping in the far left of the photo, and Paula is in pink at the far end of the table.
Here are some of the completed blocks being admired by the sewers.
And here is a better view of some of the completed blocks. It’s amazing how quilting brings the block to life. ‘It’s not a quilt till it’s quilted’ and joined together!
